- For Design Island 2008 Tara Badcock & Monique Germon have undertaken a collaborative project titled 'Beautiful Empire'. This project consists of the creation of a series of photographic works which showcase their design work in Tasmania. Germon & Badcock have chosen to explore the ability clothing has to communicate ideas and opinions within a natural landscape or constructed environment.
